Remote work security made easy

The pandemic changed our life quite a lot in the last months, what was before a privilege for some people, it becomes now a new standard way of working: Home Office or Remote/Smart Work.

A Change brings questions and perplexity.

Take some minutes while reading this article, do a short 5 minutes brainstorm on the following questions:

  1. am I using a shared wireless network?
  2. is my workplace at home safe and secure enough?
  3. do I have a ToDo list or checklist to keep good security?
  4. do I own an internet router?
  5. am I ready to work from home?
  6. how does it look like my home network?
  7. So i would put that as a question:
  8. Do I have Trusted-User / Guest-User separation?

I collected the best top 5 GOLD rules to follow to keep you and your company safe while working from home or remote:

1st rule: Do not share your company device with anyone, also for a short time, for example with colleagues, friends, or family members.

2nd rule: Change the default Administrator password of your local internet router
